Job Title: Electronics Technician Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled electronics technician with a strong technical background to join our team. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing instruments and/or systems returned for service. The position is typically found in areas such as service support and metrology, requiring troubleshooting at the component level.

• Perform calibrations with various primary standards and M&TE according to prescribed work instructions.
• Prepare required documentation and maintain associated records.
• Convey data and trends on product calibrations to appropriate departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Escalate unusual product issues to the appropriate department.
• Maintain all standards and M&TE.
• In a lab setting, analyze, troubleshoot, make repairs, resolve technical problems, and perform maintenance services on measurement equipment or components returned to the service center by customers.

• Strong troubleshooting skills in electronics and electrical systems.
• Experience with calibration and understanding of electrical engineering concepts.
• Familiarity with test and lab equipment.

• Associate's degree in Science with a focus on Electrical or Electronics Engineering or equivalent work experience, or a BS in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or other technical degree.
• Experience in troubleshooting from academic or hands-on work.
• Understanding of basic metrology concepts is preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs.
• Positive attitude, meticulous, and able to work well in a team setting.
• Good work ethic with a willingness to learn and succeed.
• Experience troubleshooting electronic test equipment.
• Six months of experience using automated test systems.
• Soldering experience.
• Familiarity with ISO standards.

The role operates in a lab setting with a choice of two shifts: 1st Shift from Monday to Friday, 6am-2:30pm, or 2nd Shift from Monday to Friday, 2:30pm-11pm. Training will be conducted during the same hours as the chosen shift.

This is a Contract position based out of Everett, WA.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Everett,WA.
